Dear Mr. Graham,
Greetings! I am a music educator with research interests in community music programs. I plan to give a paper at the MENC conference this month and have chosen a picture of your training choir from your website to illustrate CM performing groups. I'd be happy to send you a copy of the paper if you would send me your email address (am not able to access it from your site).
For questions or concerns, please contact me.
Thank you,

Dear Mr. Graham, I don't know if you would remember me, but I am one of your students from many years ago.
I was in the choir in 1995. I didn't even make concert choir, because I had to move to
Pittsburgh, PA. I just recently stumbled across your website here, and I just wanted to thank you for the way you touched my life in so few months. from the sounds of the audio clips
you're still touching lives today. Keep making beautiful music, as I know you will.
Thanks again.

I loved listening to the boys sing last night. Their voices were like the angels. It was very exciting being there. I also enjoyed hosting two of the boys after the concert. I have to tell you that I was very impressed with the boys behavior and manners. These boys are wonderful and I feel very lucky to have gotten to know two of them. Good luck to all of you! Dear friends,
I will be hosting a group of your boys while on tour in Ohio starting tomorrow
Sunday June 17, 2001. I am so excited that I can't stand myself!! I am so proud
of all the accomplishments you folks have made. Your choir is one of the greatest Boy
Choirs in the United States. We will attend 3 of the choirs concerts over the
next couple days. I have even taken my vacation to be totally available to support
the choir in their efforts. Thank you so much for coming to Ohio and I pray that
we will provide a memory to take home with, for the boys.
I especially can't wait to hear the "Pie Jesu" by Weber. It is one of my favorite
contemporary selections. Have a great tour this year Boys!

I am impressed with the music selections these boys perform. I have sung some of the same music in various choirs over the years, and know how difficult it can be. Good job! I am proud of my

Hello,
Pat & Bill I was a member of the Choir back when it was the Durham Boys Choir in the early 80's. It was an
experience I will never forget, and will treasure the rest of my life. To this day, I get goose bumps about singing in Duke Chapel. I always find it hard to describe to people what it was like because, "You
just had to be there." I am now in the US Coast Guard, and stationed in Cincinnati, OH. If you plan to tour in this area again, please let me know, as I would like to see you both again. This would be a
wonderful place for a tour stop. Thanks again for the memories.

Our son, Rick, was in the Durham Boys Choir as it was starting. He was in the choir for several years and really enjoyed it. We have always loved music and to hear such beautiful music coming from those young men just made chills go up and down my spine. I still enjoy them when I get a chance to do so. Bill Graham has done a fantastic job with the choir through the years. Pat has always been a great source of help and inspiration to the choir and the
boys' families in the choir. Keep up the good work and we look forward to seeing and hearing all of you soon.

Your boys left our church this morning on the way to a well-deserved respite at Dollywood after, what I'm sure was a long and tiring spring tour. It was inspiring, to say the least, to be around such happy, well-adjusted and talented group of young men. The concert was fantastic. I'm sorry that we could not completely fill all the seats. If people only knew what they missed.
We were honored to have two of the boys, Tony Ferraro and Jared Smith, stay overnight with us. I'll have to admit, we were a bit unsure about what we were getting into. But, there was no bother what so ever. The boys were so polite and friendly; they completely captivated us. The experience renewed our confidence in the youth of America.
Mr. Graham, the director, and all who have a hand in overseeing and managing the choir was to be commended. We will never been able to thank you enough. -- John & Nancy Schilling (members of the Saint Paul Lutheran

Hello, Bill, Scott, Walker, Patricia, and Choir.
Thank you for your concert at the United Methodist church in Somerset, KY.
Two of my sisters, two of my brothers, and I drove 1-1/2 hours one way
to hear you sing. We heard about your concert on the Western Kentucky
University's classical radio station out of Bowling Green, KY.
We enjoyed every minute of your music. My Favorite
song was the Strauss waltz. It is a rare treat to hear a good boys' choir
in person.
Our family is a family of four brothers, three sisters, and Mom and Dad.
Our family sings together. We enjoy singing similar style songs you enjoy
singing. Your selections were just the kind of music I enjoy.
It is a shame that your choir is not in our town; for if it were, a few of us
would surely like to join.
Thank you for your good music.
Sincerely, Lincoln Thompson

Thanks for coming to St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Henderson, Kentucky. It brought back memories of my singing in a boys' and men's choir in the 1930's. The next time you come to Henderson, Kentucky you should sing in the 1000-seat modern performing arts center of the Henderson Community College which is connected with the University of Kentucky. I also suggest a tour in the late fall to the University of the South at Sewanee, TN. They have a service of Nine Lessons and Carols there the first week in December that draws people from all over the United States. The chapel is very
impressive, having taken about a hundred years to complete. There is a Casavant organ with
'trompet en chamade' and one of the largest
carillons in the United States. You can find them on the web. Thanks, again, for bringing back wonderful memories in Henderson, Kentucky

I was very pleased to find your great looking website as I surfed the net for information on boys choirs. As the director of the newly formed--we have had only 4 meetings--Milwaukee Youth Leadership Academy Boys Choir I was encouraged to find so many boys choirs in existence.

I can't believe I finally took the time to look for info on the web about the "Durham Boys Choir" and here you are! I was a member of the concert choir in the late 70's, when you were performing "I Never Saw Another Butterfly", and I have frequently gotten nostalgic about what the choir was doing these days. Judging from Bill and Pat's names being still associated, I know it must still be wondrous. I hope to try to reach you soon and maybe schedule a visit. I hope you are well, and in advance, thank you for some wonderful memories I still cherish.

Neat site! Our son sings with the Fort Bend Boy's Choir of Texas. Hopefully we will be putting up a web page in the near future. The FBBC will be touring Denmark this summer. Aren't boys' voices wonderful? I'd love to hear from other parents of choir members.

My son sings with the Minnesota Boychoir, and I am very impressed with your web page. Any interest in establishing pen pals or correspondence between our choirs? Do you have any recordings I can order?
