PERFORMANCE TIPS AND REMINDERS:

• Plan around and hour to an hour and ten minutes driving time from areas in eastern Chapel Hill.

• You must arrive BY 9:00am in full uniform, and with your robe.

• Rehearsal starts promptly at 9:00am. Latecomers are not welcomed.

• Worship service begins at 10:45am with a choral prelude and the service portion should be over by 12:00noon or so.

• Lunch will be provided following the service for all choristers and the carpool drivers only (food will not be available for siblings or extra parents)

• PLAN AND BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN CARPOOLS, please.

DIRECTIONS:

• From Chapel Hill, take 15-501 North (toward Durham and Duke University).

• Approximately 8 miles later it merges with I-85 North.

• After the merge, get in the left lane. About 2 miles after the merge it splits (I-85N to the left and US-70 to the right). Stay left on I-85 North.

• Continue on I-85 North for approximately 35 miles.

• Get off at exit #214 (NC HWY-39)

• Make a right at the top of the exit ramp (you will be on NC-39 / Andrews Ave).

• Go through three traffic lights until you reach the intersection of Andrews Ave. and Chestnut Street.

• Make a right onto Chestnut Street.

• Go to the second street on the left (Church Street) and make a left. Parking is alongside the church, on the back side, or in the courthouse parking lot.

• Choristers should enter through the white "Choir Door" at the top of the steps next to the playground.
